Jonathan Steinhauer continues his application of the writings of Clausewitz to gaming, this time examining what happens when you have to turn and run.

Turbine posted their downtime schedule for this upcoming Monday:

The Game Servers and http://myaccount.turbine.com will be offline for maintenance on Monday, July 7 from 7:00AM to 11:00AM Eastern (-4 GMT). The websites, forums, and wikis will remain up and readable, but players may not be able to log in. Thanks for your patience, and we'll see you back in the game following the maintenance!

Turbine let us know about their scheduled maintenance:

All Turbine services will be down on Monday June 23th from 7:00am - 11:00am Eastern (-4 GMT) for maintenance. During this time the game, billing and authentication servers will be offline. In addition, all Turbine forums will be viewable, but players may not be able to log into their accounts.

The news is also in their game launchers, so you'll be reminded Monday morning!

Turbine's posted the release notes for the June event, titled "Dispatch", which goes live tomorrow.

The notes show some changes to the Jester, some updates to some quests, and other general note-worthy info:

• Drudge Balloons are now called Drudge Balloons instead of Drudge Ballooons.
• The word askance is no longer in the love note from Laylana.
